Renee and Stefano's Sweet Wedding at The Royal Venetian
Renee and Stefano are one of the most adorable couples we have ever worked with. We met them back in 2018 at our studio over espresso and great conversation, and there was a great connection from the moment we met. We loved capturing Renee and Stefano’s engagement and wedding. Below is an account of how much fun we had.
The Engagement Session
Renee and Stefano’s engagement session happened on a perfect Sunday afternoon. Renee’s father is a pilot, so we decided to shoot their engagement photos at the airport in Orillia. The scenery at the small airport is beautiful, and we used the field and the water. We also included some shots of the couple with her dad’s plane. It’s one of those beautiful small planes, by the way.
The day was perfect, and we also visited the cottage that they have in Orillia. Both sets of parents were there along with their two little doggies who were also featured in some photos. After the photoshoot, we went for a nice lunch with the couple and their parents.
The Wedding Morning
The wedding took place on September 14, 2019. It was a beautiful September day, and Stefano looked so handsome. Renee also looked stunning, and we could not just get enough of her in her wedding dress. We’ve shot lots of weddings, and we’re yet to see a dress like this. It was perfect on her petite perfect silhouette, and the shots came out beautifully.
The Ceremony
Renee and Stefano got married in the late afternoon at St David’s Church in Maple, where Father Ernie performed the catholic ceremony (Yes, yes, we know, we’re at St. David’s quite a bit aren’t we? Lol). It was a beautiful ceremony with the couple surrounded by all their family, friends, and loved ones.
The Photoshoot and The Reception
Typically, we go to a park after the ceremony for a photo session with the bride, groom and their wedding party. But this time, we didn’t have to because the couple had their reception at the Royal Venetian in Aurora. It’s a perfect backdrop for photos, so we found a field at the back of the property and took some fantastic pictures there. You’ll never guess that we took them at the back of a parking lot! We took some photos in front of the building too. The wedding party consisted of 14 people, and they were a riot to work with. It was fun for everybody.
After the shoot, we moved to the reception. It was a massive party with 300 people dancing and partying all night long. The way Stefano scooped Renee off her feet when they entered the hall in front of their 300 guests, and twirled her on the dance floor was so beautiful. You could feel the love in the room. The venue was breathtaking both inside and out with the décor setting the mood with lots of candlelight. The food was spectacular too. In fact, the ambiance was so perfect that we snuck the couple out for some night shots.
How Did We Do at Renee And Stefano’s Wedding?
It was our pleasure to be a part of Renee and Stefano’s wedding journey. We hope that their beautiful relationship lasts a long time and that we get to capture all their special milestones. We love you guys!
